A gorgeously shot character piece, "Sweetland" is saying something real while transporting us to a part of our amazing country that so many people just don't know that much about.
I had the pleasure of sitting down with writer/director Christian Sparkes and author Michael Crummey to discuss the origins of the story, and East Coast New Wave, working in the elements and so very much more.
