Being an ally is more than wearing a rainbow t-shirt. It's more than holding space during the month of June. This week on the podcast, I invited my dear friend, Dr. Elizabeth Schroeder to discuss what it means to be a better ally. Admittedly, I often wonder if I'm doing enough. Especially, in the current climate, it pains me to know that folks within the LGBTQIA+ community are literally fighting for their lives, livelihoods and freedoms. And I know many of you feel the same way. In this episode, we discuss allyship, how we can all do better and clarify some commonly used terminology that may be a bit confusing to some well-meaning straights. To say the conversation is robust is an understatement. It's an episode that you'll definitely want to save and play again, then share with others. Please listen (and watch on Spotify) with an open heart and mind.
