Tyler Sj. describes himself as a "very average guy writing about very average things. Slightly better than average at doing it.” He likes to write about the things most folks know like family, growing up, figuring stuff out, and sobriety. He writes from his own experience and whether you listen to the songs on his new album, Long Bit of Weather, or read his articles on his website, you somehow get the feeling you're getting to know him. That's because you are. Tyler might be what Joe Walsh called an ordinary average guy, but as an artist he is far above average.
