Oh, Harvey Milk, how we adore thee.
You fought the good fight. You lost and you won. You dove in and attempted something that should have broken you, but it didn't. Our hats off to Harvey Milk and all LGBTQ people who get involved and shape public policy.
What did we learn from watching Milk (2008) and from the life of Harvey himself? Get in there and do the things. Don't wait for someone else to change the world. (awwww) Also, getting murdered sucks.
