Guest Bio -

Moreno is an innovative and passionate winemaker, co owner of Ferlat winery in the heart of the renowned D.O.C. areas Friuli Isonzo and Collio.

Founded in 1950, the cellar covers 7 hectares of land cultivated according to the principles of organic farming.

After graduating in oenology at University, he joined forces with his father to create his own labels whilst working as a chef of cellar in an iconic international winery.

Moreno's philosophy is simple but profound: to minimize the environmental impact in the cultivation of vines and to produce wines that express the unique personality of the terroir.

With a commitment to sustainability and respect for the farming tradition, Moreno has taken the company to new heights of excellence. His wines range from Pinot Grigio to Friulano and Cabernet Franc, and are appreciated for their quality and distinctive personality. Moreno Ferlat proved that it is possible to combine innovation and tradition in the production of exceptional wines.
