  1. If you could be reincarnated as an Italian grape variety, what would it be and why?

Se potesse reincarnarsi in un vitigno italiano, quale sarebbe e perché?

  1. We have learned from the Greeks to rediscover the sense of smell and of course taste. If there is a wine that touches your senses, is that the best? How many times in your life have you tasted a wine and changed your mind and taken a step forward in pure sensations and in your philosophical approach?

Abbiamo imparato dai greci a riscoprire l'olfatto e naturalmente il gusto. Se esiste un vino che tocca i suoi sensi: è quello il migliore? Quante volte nella sue vita ha assaggiato un vino e si è ricreduto e fatto un passo in avanti nelle sensazioni pure e nell'approccio filosofico?

Professor Atillio Scienza is the one who checks all the facts and regulates when we mistakenly type “Verdicchio” instead of “Vermentino.” He is a full professor at the University of Milan in the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences where he teaches courses on genetic improvements to the vine; he also teaches Viticulture in the Master’s program of the University of Turin in Asti. He has been the lead for many national research projects in the field of physiology, agricultural techniques, and vine genetics. As the author of over 350 publications on vine and viticulture in national and international journals, you can bet he knows his stuff!
