Bryan, who was sentenced to 37.5 years to life in prison when he was 23, earned his associate’s, bachelor’s, and master's degrees and participated in the Voices From Within initiative while he was incarcerated.
Since June 2022, The Perlmutter Center for Legal Justice has worked to obtain clemency for Bryan, its first client.
Since his release, Bruce has been an advocate for those wrongly imprisoned and has sought to pass his story along to give hope to others who have been wrongly imprisoned.
