In this episode of IVF Before and After, Kay shares a story from an anonymous source about the experience of being an NICU parent, having the joy of bringing a new baby into this world being immediately transformed into a world of anxiety and pain. Having a baby in intensive care is a horror that no parent wants to go through and is an experience that can cause PTSD symptoms for many years. By sharing this story, Kay hopes that those going through this experience can find comfort and hope in this horrible time.
Post-natal depression is far more common in those that experienced difficultly during child birth, Kay hopes that we can all come together to create a support network to help each other though.
