I once again met up with Michele Romanow, Canadian Tech Entrepreneur, Television Personality, Board Director, Venture Capitalist, Co-Founder of Clearbanc, and one of the Dragons on Dragons’ Den (who I interviewed back in the day when she was part of Buytopia) at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (tiff) at the red-carpet premier of the movie DUMB MONEY, in wide release September 29th. The movie stars Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Pete Davidson, Shailene Woody, and America Ferrera, (not present due the SAG - AFTRA strike). DUMB MONEY is the true story of a group of rag-tag investors from the Reddit page called r/WallStreetBets, who banded together to put the squeeze on at least two hedge funds that had bet that GameStop shares would fall. The movie proves that anyone, even the most novice investor, can take on a giant, rise-up, and win!

Michele shares her perspective on the film as well as what’s coming up on the new season of Dragrons’ Den. She also spills how she got where she is today and provides some useful tips for how you can get there too. And how Clearbanc is helping individuals and businesses like you achieve these goals.
