In today’s episode, co-hosts Sami (type 1) and Dobie (type 2) chat it up with ‘Christel Oerum - Diabetes Strong’, an active and educative Danish gal who just recently moved from Santa Monica, California to Miami Beach, Florida.
Christel has dealt with type 1 diabetes on a day to day basis since her 20s, and had to learn how to manage her active lifestyle in Denmark with maintaining stable blood sugars. Christel is an active guru amongst many sports, and used to be a competitive bodybuilder.
Knowing her macros, activity level, and being intuitive with herself was her love language, and Christel offers up all her advice in this episode. Stay tuned to start building your diabetes
management and awareness!
