"Breathing fresh air into diabetes education," how good does this sound? This is exactly what the Canadian charity and diabetes education group, Connected in Motion, is doing.

They are people with Type 1 diabetes who share a vision to create a culture of support & engagement in diabetes self-management through peer-based experiential diabetes education, sport, and outdoor adventure.

In this episode, Julie De Vos from Connected in Motion, tells us about her diabetes journey and how her passion for travel and the outdoors have come together to play a role in how she serves and supports the T1D community today.
