Bullies are another kind of toxic relationship. Today I sat down with Catherine Mattice, CEO & Founder of Civility Partners and the author of 3 books on workplace bullying to talk about what human resources can teach us about keeping out the toxic in your work, and your home.
All toxic relationships follow a similar pattern- they use the same techniques and employ the same kind of enablers to maintain the status quo. Catherine breaks down why do people bully, why does it go ignored for so long, and how to nip it in the bud from the start (just like we have to do with other toxic people in our lives).
