i had absolutely no idea who Mike Caveny was so I went ahead and looked him up. I guess he's some kind of magician biographer? It also turns out that Harry Anderson's "Wise Guy" is in fact a real book, and what's more, chunks of the text that appear in Homestuck are copied verbatim from it. Weird.
