Episode 12 was a blast! Before I list the links here's a recent report from Neal Wilkinson from Rocky Mountain Adventure Guides on Pueblo Reservoir:

Water's dropping right now and the temp is up to 68 in some areas. Fish are also starting to suspend in the western basin where runoff is starting to discolor (by Pueblo standards) the water. I kept seeing lots of marks on my sonar the last couple days as I blazed up and down the lake so I decided to troll some cranks and it worked well!!! 15-25 feet seemed to hold the most fish.

To get in touch with Neal about the conditions at Pueblo or to book a trip with him click this link or call 720-220-1284

I shared some of the information about a impromptu trip with Matt Nevermann (owner of 2020 EyeVenue) to Lake Dillon with Randy Ford owner of Alpine Fishing Adventures! We had an absolute blast catching too many feisty rainbows, stout browns, and beautifully colored arctic char to count! I highly recommend taking a trip with Alpine Fishing Adventures you can get in touch with Randy by clicking this link or by calling 303-885-6292.

We talked with Louis Chapman CEO/Co-Founder of the Patriot Anglers about their upcoming beta test bass tournament and then we talked chasing chasing cutthroats and brookies in high alpine lakes!

During the show Louis referenced a few really awesome books that give anglers a ton of great information about high alpine lakes in the Indian Peaks Wilderness area and also Rocky Mountain National Park. Click below for links to both of those books.

During the show we also briefly talked about chasing some of these high alpine trout through the ice. Louis spoke highly of the deeper brand fish finder you can access more information on this fish finder that works in conjunction with your phone or tablet by clicking here.
