Hi mamas. Join me this week as I talk to Andrea Bombino, a Career and Business Coach who helps mothers navigate matrescence and step into new mindsets that accommodate their new roles as mothers AND their career aspirations. Andrea’s ethos that motherhood can be done differently shines through our conversation, and I’m so excited to be sharing it with you.

In this conversation, Andrea reflects on her experience of having a baby in the pandemic, and touches on her experience of miscarriage. We discuss Andrea’s background and the various cultural influences that played a role in her upbringing, and her choices to do motherhood differently and break away from some of the ideals and norms she grew up with, especially as they relate to mothering and outdated gender roles. We also discuss the concepts of martyrdom, perfectionism, strength, and the “superwoman”.
Andrea also shares her refreshing approach to taking the path of least resistance in parenting, the many merits of this, and the importance of giving yourself permission to choose yourself and to choose joy. We also discuss the importance of valuing and honouring whichever season of motherhood and of life you may be currently in, and acceptance the everchanging cyclical nature of motherhood.
I so enjoyed this refreshing and nourishing conversation with Andrea and I hope you enjoy it too.
