(18) I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, (19) and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.”’ (20) “So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. (21) His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son.’ (22) “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. (23) And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, (24) for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began. (ルカ 15:17-24 JCB)こんな毎日を送るうち、彼もやっと目が覚めました。『お父さんの家なら雇い人にだって、あり余るほど食べ物があるだろうに。なのに自分は、なんてみじめなんだ。こんな所で飢え死にしかけている。(18)そうだ、家に帰ろう。帰って、お父さんに頼もう。「お父さん。すみませんでした。神様にもお父さんにも、罪を犯してしまいました。(19)もう息子と呼ばれる資格はありません。どうか、雇い人として使ってください。」』 (20)決心がつくと、彼は父親のもとに帰って行きました。ところが、家まではまだ遠く離れていたというのに、父親は息子の姿をいち早く見つけたのです。『あれが帰って来た。かわいそうに、あんなみすぼらしいなりで。』こう思うと、じっと待ってなどいられません。走り寄って抱きしめ、口づけしました。(21)『お父さん。すみませんでした。ぼくは、神様にもお父さんにも、罪を犯してしまいました。もう息子と呼ばれる資格はありません。』 (22)ところが父親は、使用人たちにこう言いつけたのです。『さあ、何をぼやぼやしている。一番良い服を出して、この子に着せてやりなさい。宝石のついた指輪も、くつもだ。(23)それから肥えた子牛を料理して、盛大な祝宴の用意をしなさい。(24)死んだものとあきらめていた息子が生き返り、行方の知れなかった息子が帰って来たのだから。』こうして祝宴が始まりました。 1.He Made You With Love 愛と共にあなたを作ってくれた (Psalm 139:13 NLT) You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
