In this, the second episode of the Like Dragons Did They Fight Podcast, Karen Broadhead leads four Life Changing Coaches in a discussion about the great power that comes from remembering who we are (children of a loving, all-powerful God, with a present and redeeming Savior) and remembering our purpose (to fight for His cause and to find joy in joining ranks with others in that battle.)

In a BYU Devotional, Elder Tad R. Callister spoke of a time when President Nelson was asked, “How can we help those struggling with pornography?” President Nelson replied, “Teach them their identity and purpose.” That answer applies to any self-mastery challenge, and to anything we do that is outside our values system.

The first lesson in the Eternal Warriors course is all about our identity and purpose, and we teach that once we remember those two truths, we gain vision, hope, and the strength to fight whatever battles we are engaged in. As we employ tools that help us put on the whole armor of God daily, and that keep us aligned with the Savior, He can help us manage the mess, and endure what is hard - and do so with joy!
