Effective leadership isn’t just about good communication, knowing the skills to win, having vision and direction, or effective coaching skills. But is instead an ability to hold your identity, confidence, and emotions against an array of responses and situations. Leadership begins within the self as you learn to not project your insecurities onto individuals within your organization. It’s having the discipline and personal determination to open your heart and see where you’re lacking, do the healing work, and then speak and act from a place of love in your leadership (including within your own family, because as a parent you *are* a leader!). This will transform your priorities when it comes to leadership development for sure!
