On today's episode of LOTW Becky and Bevy discuss the brutal murder of Lauren Hugelmaier.
Lauren was a young Christian woman that was hoping to find a man who valued and prioritized God in his life as much as she did. When she reconnected with a guy that she went to middle school with over Instagram, she thought she found just that - a god-fearing man whom she could spend the rest of her life with. However, only a year into their marriage her husband, Matthew Phelps, called 911 with a disturbing claim that he had killed his wife. He mentioned to the 911 operators that he had taken a lot of cough medicine somewhat implicating that he was out of his mind when the attack happened. Was he actually robotripping or was something far more sinister at play?
