*Tools to create Knit an I-Cord: *


I-Cord Uses:

  • Drawstrings (sweaters, shorts, baby booties, more!)
  • Decorative feature on hats (baby hats especially)
  • Ties to keep a hat on your head - attach them to earflaps - TinCanKnits has a blog post featuring their Beloved Bonnet
  • Appliqué
  • Shoe laces
  • Cord to hold your glasses!
  • Garland
  • Interweave link to projects: macrame plant hanger, braided bracelets, jump ropes, and braided coasters, trivets, and rugs!

Cast-on:
