I talk with Dr. Michael Edelstein about his book Three Minute Therapy and his approach to mental wellness. Dr. Edelstein is a psychologist who uses Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy to help people overcome difficulties in their life.

Dr. Edelstein first used REBT when he was in college to help himself overcome anxiety and depression. Since then, he has earned his PhD in psychology and now helps people overcome life difficulties in his private practice.

In this interview, we discuss:

  • Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy
  • The difference between REBT and other therapy
  • Mental illness vs normal difficulties in life
  • Common irrational beliefs people hold
  • Ways REBT can be used to make life better
