THIS WEEK on Method Theology…

Donna’s got a bug in her britches.

A totally, entirely, completely first world conversation about free bleeding. Donna’s trying to quit cussing, but not really… Homeward Bound and why anyone can die in a movie, but if the dog dies Holly’s done. Lean not on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5) Donna tries to make Holly sin on the way to Dallas. Being friends with someone who believes differently than you. #MORKY!! The connection between abuse and arrogance. Defining yourself through the world’s eyes (money, marriage, intelligence, career) and how that makes you cocky Holly has a psychological breakthrough! Table thiefs Donna forgets Holly’s name again. Finding value in God, instead of people. The inability to accept gifts from God and feeling indebted for them. Feeling unworthy of the space you take up Being a fixer Feeling responsible for the world around you The effects we have on each other Lack of grace for other Christians Being afraid God won’t defend you/ feeling abandoned by God Donna takes off her pants… and talks about it a lot. God uses all things for the good of those who love him. (Romans 8:28) Being a sinner. Getting cocky about being humble. Learning how to accept God’s love. Holly’s intelligence idol and the hot jumbled mess of insecurity and bragging she is. Donna’s grandma. Spending quality time with God, not just a quick cup of coffee. How Donna’s period drives her to worship. How Holly’s doesn’t. Donna and Holly sing in Spanish. Here’s the sermon Donna was talking about: "The God of My Gaps" by Steven Furtick. This is an endorsement of this sermon, specifically. We don’t know Broheim Furtick, though we’re sure he’s probably lovely. "Bailando" by Enrique Iglesias LISTEN. TRUST HOLLY. Warning: You’ll laugh; you’ll cry. You’ll cuss… just like us. Epic thanks to BenSound.com for all the fabulous Royalty-Free tunes. Much love, bruh!
