On this week's episode of Millennials and Money, our guest and owner of Contos Builders share his money story. Ryan shares how after seeing his dad own a business he knew business ownership was going to be his route to success. After high school, he went straight to work in the construction industry where his work ethic fast-tracked him to a role in management where he was responsible for a team and learned how to manage and motivate people. Although he was making a very good living working for someone else he knew it was his destiny to take his work ethic and skill and go into business for himself. Ryan shares how his business has continued to grow because he focused on quality and let his work speak for itself. He's found a niche in the construction industry working on Eichler Homes in the Bay Area Peninsula he's reached the point in his business where he realized he's more of a value to the business and his guys not putting his bags but focusing on the business development role of his company.
