Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) supports you in activating your body's relaxation response (via the vagus nerve). It involves actively tensing and softening different muscle groups throughout the body. PMR can be particularly helpful after a stressful day if you're finding it difficult to unwind. It can also support the body to relax in preparing for sleep.
