Im escaping my 9 to 5 as a radio host at the Swedish Radio after 8 years and following my passion instead!
From today on, my job is to create podcasts for myself and people I believe in. That's why I am launching this podcast about simple living in a RV.
So whats my story? I was born in Sweden into a Kurdish Armenian family that only wanted the best for me, so they gave me the basics of life and society – so that I could fit in. After a decade in the rat race, I realized that we put so much pressure on each other and especially on ourselves. We do this so that we can slip into this perfect professional life and we never stop to consider if it’s actually what we want. I loved my job as a radio and TV host. My job defined me. I was my job. But then again, my personality made me a perfect match for my job in the entertainment indrustry. I chose my work — it didn’t choose me. And then everything changed.
I sold and donated all my possessions almost 2 years ago. I bought an RV and I have lived in it with my dog for 20 months. Why? Because I want to be true to myself and that starts with knowing who I am are and accepting myself, knowing my true passions, my strengths but also limitations. What I want to say on my death bed is that I lived my life to the fullest an I did everything I ever wanted to – I traveled and made friends. I stood up' against what I felt was wrong. I fought for human rights in Kurdistan, I helped animals by promoting veganism, I did not discriminate people or animals and did not consume or hurt animals. I want to say ”You my friend, damn it you had the courage to live a life true to yourself.. Let’s die!”.
■ Why ’Minimalism On Wheels’? I want to create a podcast audience about how I have reduced my bills, I am going to do some Q&A:s, I want to talk about veganism, minimalism and of course the thing that makes this podcast so special: The RV-life. Because living in an RV can be a dream come true if you're prepared for the change, but it can easily become an utter nightmare if you aren't ready for it.

Support me on Patreon if you value my dedication so that I can create content for people that also want to break free from the 9-5 lifestyle so that they can be more with less in a RV.
When you break it down, you can see how much you can help me accomplish for a few pennies or dollars a day. Whatever you do, I’m immensely grateful, and I will continue doing everything I can to be the best ambassador of compassion I can be.
