Welcome to episode one of the Moms of the Night Podcast! I can’t believe we are actually here. I am your host, Niki DeConcini. I am just your average mom from Minnesota who had this message in her heart and wanted to create this space where moms can have real, raw conversations about motherhood. Especially in those middle of the night moments, when you might be thinking, “how am I going to make it through this?” This podcast is a sacred space where we are going to release judgment and share stories. I want this podcast to be a space where you can escape to when the outside noise and opinions get to be too much.

In this first episode, I share my own journey of how my husband and I became parents. And as someone who likes to plan ahead and considers herself a self-proclaimed control freak, it was not the journey I had hoped for. I also go into details on the gut-wrenching loss of my own mom when I was just five weeks postpartum. And finally, I explain how the idea for Moms of the Night came to be.

If this little passion project of mine can help just one mama out there, then this podcast will be fulfilling my biggest dreams. If you know of a mama who is in the thick of early motherhood, and might be feeling so isolated and alone, please share this episode with her. Thank you so much for being on this journey with me and if you enjoyed this episode be sure to rate or review it wherever you listen to podcasts!
