I am so glad to be publishing our first episode of the podcast where I did an episode based off of a suggestion of the listeners, so thank you to Ethan for suggesting End of Evangelion and thank you to "boop squig" for suggesting Bodies Bodies Bodies, two films I greatly love, one being an A24 slasher and the other being an incredibly thematically dense and philosophical film that is a retelling of the last two episodes of a television show... don't worry, viewing End of Evangelion or the television show, Neon Genesis Evangelion, are not necessary for this episode, but definitely check them out after this episode! Hoping to do another listener's pick post-strike so that way more films can be spoken about. Also, "boop squig" also submitted a really fantastic hot take about two recently beloved mystery films.
