Welcome to the first of our two horror-themed episodes for Halloween! Body horror is my favorite subgenre of horror, my favorite genre of film, and I weirdly picked two body horror films where our protagonists bond with machines, and that was a big accident! My appreciation for both of these films grew with this watch, and although I gave only minor spoilers for both film, the abstract nature of both makes it truly difficult to spoil as so much is up to interpretation of the viewer. Also, our hot take involves a very beloved 2017 Best Picture-nominated film that I enjoy but do not love as much as everyone else. This was a fun episode to make, so I hope you all enjoy!
