The MFF podcast is back, and this week we’re talking about two movies that feature ambitious camerawork, committed performances, and an island that may or may not barf blood (yep..it's weird). Bad Times at the El Royale and The Apostle are the products of two fantastic directors (Drew Goddard, Gareth Evans) who knew exactly what they wanted (to create a quality film) and stopped at nothing to achieve their vision. Both movies feature jaw-dropping moments involving 5-minute steadicam shots, drilled craniums and devious cults.
