“What is light without dark?” We watched Legend (1985) directed by Ridley Scott and what we wouldn’t give to run around the forest hugging woodland creatures and get wine drunk with fairies. This movie is HIGH fantasy and we are here for it. Baby Tom Cruise is prancing around without any pants, Mia Sara is serving high-fashion face, face, beauty, face and Tim Curry is giving us CAMP as gym-bunny muscle-queen Lord of Darkness. This movie is peak 80’s fantasy up there with any Henson or Lucasfilm classic and definitely not to be missed.
