It may be the most remote and least-visited national park in the United States. It is certainly one of the hardest to access, since it consists entirely of islands off the coast of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Now, thanks to TRAVEL ITCH RADIO, this Lake Superior park will get the exposure it deserves. Open only April through October, Isle Royale National Park is actually part of Keweenaw County.
