Challenges Neurodistinct Students Face in University is a topic which needs to be spoken about more. On this episode of the Openhearted Podcast, we are lucky to have Eric Endlich Ph.d. - Founder of Top College Consultants in the United States, to speak more in depth about this area and to hear more about his amazing work.
Questions we plan to discuss:
1. Tell us a bit about your work in regards to neurodiversity and universities.
2. What’s some of the biggest problems neurodistinct students face when in higher education, for example applications, online studying.
3. What are universities missing or what could they improve on to make their university more neuro-inclusive.
4. How does this then effect the students? Regarding mental health?
5. Are there specially trained people who understand neurodiversity to give these students the help they need?
6. What support is there for these students once they finish university? Especially if they haven’t scored the best marks?
7. What changes have you seen in the years you have been working in this field.
8. What advice would you give to a neurodistinct student who’s considering applying to university.
9. What are some of the social aspects some ND students face once starting at university? Is there help in these areas.
