Die Abenteuer eines schwarzen deutschen Teenagers mit eindrucksvoller Afro-Frisur kamen auch auf diversen Festivals so gut an, dass die Story nun in Spielfilmlänge in die Kinos kommt. Nach der erfolgreichen Fingerübung drehte Regisseur und Autor Armin Völckers, der bis dahin vor allem als Maler tätig war, eine ambitionierte Komödie mit dramatischen Untertönen über Rassismus und rechte Gewalt, erste Liebe und deutsche Identität. Das Ergebnis ist wechselhaft, aber stets spannend.
