Before Mike and Jenny start up Jenny's show choice, they are going to take a couple of weeks to force each other to watch some films. This week, Jenny forces Mike to watch the 2001 South Korean comic melodrama My Sassy Girl from director Kwak Jae-yong. They discuss how well certain kinds of comedy translate to other cultures, how endearing can one find an abusive relationship, and whether or not they weeped during the film's melodramatic climax.
