Welcome to this brand new episode of the Nonprofit Connect podcast, brought to you by Rogue Creatives, designed to connect with and learn from all sorts of people within the nonprofit hemisphere. I’m your host, Matt Barnes, and I hope you’re ready for an exciting episode.

Join me, as I speak to a very special guest I have had my eye on since the start of the podcast: Matthew Wadlinger, Chief Strategy Officer at the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Orange County (CASA OC), and also a good friend of mine! CASA OC is a privately funded nonprofit organization and member of the National CASA/GAL Association for Children.

Prior to this, he was the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Orangewood Foundation, a role he earned through ten years of rising up their ranks!

So sit back, relax, and listen to us cover such topics as:
  • Why some people are drawn to nonprofit organizations
  • The importance of injecting humanity into your nonprofit marketing
  • How to inspire others to make a difference with you
  • Dissecting the average volunteer persona
  • Utilizing the servant leadership mentality
