A Cry in the Dark may be most remembered for its infamous “a dingo took my baby” moment, but the movie features one of Meryl’s best performances of the 1980s. While she would go on to lose the Oscar, she had a better night than anyone remotely involved with the production of this disastrous show, which ended in humiliation, litigation, and infamy. Join us as we discuss Rob Lowe’s vocal chops, the woman who played Snow White in the worst Oscars opening number of all time, and Chad Lowe’s (yup, two Lowe brothers!) participation in the “I Wanna Be An Oscar Winner” number that is more cringeworthy than you remember it being. These were the Oscars that almost broke the Oscars.

Hosted by Michael (@cateblanchetttt), with Drew (@TallestKanyeFan) and Walter (@walthickey). Please let us know your thoughts on the films of 1988 by leaving us a review on iTunes!
