Why don’t monsters eat ghosts? They taste like sheet.

Today we are discussing the Seminole legend of the Stikini in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

The Seminole Indians of Oklahoma have a legend of a vampire-like creature called a stikini. This creature take the form of a human during the day, but at night becomes an owl-like creature that craves human flesh.

Born overnight during the 1891 Land Run, the town of Tecumseh was named after the famed Shawnee Indian chief and visionary. No trip to Tecumseh is complete without a stop at the Farmer’s Daughter Market. This combination dining and shopping destination offers two eateries, a bakery and two shops containing everything from home decor and gifts to furniture and antiques. Other must-see Tecumseh attractions include Tecumseh Lake and the Tecumseh Historical Museum, which is housed in a 100-year-old native stone building that has served as a bank, hat shop and insurance office.
