John invited Dr. David Geier back to the podcast for this week’s interview. His first appearance was in August of 2018 in Episode 49. He was an early adopter of using social media and podcasting to help promote his practice and speaking engagements.

Dr. Geier is a local media personality with thousands of television appearances. As a podcaster, he has posted over 400 podcast episodes. And he has written a book called That’s Gotta Hurt: The Injuries That Changed Sports Forever, which we discussed during his first appearance.

David is a triple board-certified orthopedist who has shifted his approach to sports injuries and chronic joint problems over the past few years. During our interview we talked about his experiences with burnout, his YouTube channel, how he uses speaking engagements to promote himself, his new medical practice, and how he uses artificial intelligence (AI) to facilitate content creation.
