This week on POTM Annie chats with a local farmer called Dave Woods. Dave is a father and husband and has created a meaningful life for his family along side his wife on a property near Toobeah QLD.
Tracing back in time; Dave has suffered from the mental illness “depression”. He has pushed himself to overcome these hurdles in his life and has undertaken an immense amount of self-discovery in order to get to the route cause of what was causing this overwhelming feeling of depression.
Dave has a very insightful overview of what he believes can be done in order to overcome mental illnesses. Dave’s sense of hope and motivation when talking about mental battles is very encouraging to say the least. This episode goes to show there is an immense amount of light at the end of the tunnel when feeling “stuck”.
