Mervyn Kersh is a distinguished Second World War veteran. Now 99 years old, he joined the army in 1943 at the age of 18.
In this episode, we speak about his experiences of antisemitism growing up as a Jew in south London, witnessing the atrocities of the Nazi regime firsthand as he fought across Europe, and his conversations with survivors of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp just days after its liberation.
