Scope and Objective
The new POLIMP Webinar Series was launched on the 7th of July 2015 with a discussion on the topic: “Paris 2015: lessons from the Copenhagen experience?”. The 1st POLIMP Webinar explored what lessons could be drawn from the experience of the negotiation process towards the 2009 Copenhagen climate summit – which did not deliver the desired new global climate treaty – for a success of this year’s conference COP21 in Paris, which is aiming to adopt a new agreement for the time after 2020.
