Today’s question is “What is the role of the charity sector in rooting out racism?” and I’m in conversation with Kadra Abdinasir

Kadra joined the Organising Committee of #CharitySoWhite in November 2019 and works with the team to lead conversations about racism in the charity sector and promote change.

She is currently Head of Children and Young People’s Mental Health at Centre for Mental Health and leads their policy and research programmes in this area. As part of her role, she is also the Strategic Lead for the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition. She has eight years’ experience in the charity sector specialising in children and young people’s policy working for organisations such as The Children’s Society.
