We talked about how shame is a sense of not being enough, no matter how well we’re doing, and how trauma leads to shame. Most crucially, we talked about what to do about it. So many PTPs want to avoid shaming our own kids, but we don’t know exactly how. Dr. Ashley has some great ideas.
