Mel Silicki has been involved in DC Real Estate for the past 20 years. He started out as a Loan Officer and moved on to being a Realtor with a focus on finding and supplying tear downs to local small builders. Through this avenue, Mel started his own construction company, building and selling 3-5 spec. homes a year from 1997 to 2008. The financial crisis hit him fairly hard and his partnership in construction ended. He was fortunate enough to have built great relationships during his sales period and was brought on to help start a remodeling division for a high-end custom home builder. They have built the business to $10,000,000 per year in volume.
