We talked about preparing to buy a home, you have your money you have an agent and you have your loan. Once you have your budget all you have to do is decide on the house. t's easy now, right? Well..... Not quite. Just because you can spend $200,0000 doesn't mean you can buy a home of the same value. If you are in an are of multiple offers you might need to shop in the $185k range so you can compete during the offer stage. Then location - city, township - depending on location the price of the home you can afford to spend value might change because of the cost of taxes and insurance. You can get what you need you may not always get what you want. What's more important? Amenities - beds, baths, acreage, granite & stainless steel, tiled shower vs insert, Open plan living, one story 2 story garage, close to the lake, out in the country Do you want to buy new?
