Man was created as a free moral agent. We are not robots programmed to never make mistakes but rather we have the innate ability to decide wrongly. With this ability to make mistakes, we also possess the creative right to learn from our mistakes and then strive to do better. The ability to recover is a product of God's creative genius. It is recovery that presents itself in man's humanity of making mistakes and wrong decisions. Throughout man's history, we have example after example of man's ability to recover. Even at the cellular level god has instituted the creative design of recovery and it is this design at creation that makes recovery a vital component within the life of man.
Recovery is a process of decisions.
