God rewards whom he wants to reward. Making better decisions yields more rewards and fewer consequences. Thus inherently recovery yields more rewards as we make better decisions and decide to live better. We begin to receive the rewards that come from hard work and honest living. Those in our life begin to trust us and the reward for doing a good job is that you get to do that job again, thus the reward for good work is more work. Recovery is filled with rewards. The first reward in recovery is hope. In recovery, we receive the reward of being hopeful instead of hopeless. In recovery, we receive the reward of continued life. The ultimate reward for making correct decisions is that we get to make more decisions. In recovery we are no longer powerless instead we become powerful in our leaning on the GOD of our understanding. We draw on his immeasurable power and unlimited wisdom. There is nowhere we can't go when we let GOD drive the car. Recovery is a returning to God for life and God rewards those who turn to him and lean on him
