So why "back to film school?" Well, that's where you learn how masterful these kinds of projects can really be. But honestly everyone has had exposure to adaptations even in K-12 schooling. West Side Story? That's Romeo and Juliet! Gone with the Wind was a novel first! There's literally thousands upon thousands. Its quintessential knowledge for all art: It's all theft. That's what this show is all about at its core, so why not start at the heart of it all?
