Hey Everybody! I'm Pete and this is Reel of Thieves, where we go over all the references, riffs and history of your favorite stuff FOR THE LAST TIME OF 2021!!! And today, we're diving into the sandstorms of Dune: Part One!

This is a movie about many things and there are so many moments of pure artistic symbolism reminiscent of the French New Wave. In this show, I'll go over some of the world building to hopefully get you somewhat better aquainted with things maybe not fully discussed in the film. Then, we'll go through some references and what he may have drawn from to bring his version of Frank Herbert's Manga Opus to life.
