In this episode, we delve into the exhilarating world of entrepreneurship and explore the concept of betting on oneself to start a successful company. Our guest, Julian Lumpkin shares the story of his failures, sacrifices and experiences as he went from being a sales employee to ultimately creating his own company, SuccessKit which is now making tremendous waves in the B2B space.

The episode starts with Julian talking about how he started as an employee in sales and slowly climbed the ranks to become a sales manager for the last 2 years of his employment. He explains how being an entrepreneur wasn't something he intended but the idea was slowly planted as he realized just what he can achieve on his own.

He shares the realization of how the company he used to be in spent so much money and resources on hiring the best sales reps and training when the most important information was right in front of them, which is their own examples of their customers' success. This led Julian to the path of starting SuccessKit.

Julian then started the process of becoming an entrepreneur 2 months later at the end of 2016, after resigning from his position, moving back in with his parents and investing a hundred thousand dollars of his own money to create the initial product that led to where he is now.
